I just got my first fill last week. I thought that my port was under my biggest scar. But when I got the fill it turned out to be inch under that scar. The doc said what I felt was just scar tissue.:girl_hug:

if you would really like to "feel" your port, do this - it always works. lie on your back and raise up like you are doing a sit up - at the same time poke around the big scar and you should feel it. i occassionally check mine just to see if it is still there. :)

Thats the way I feel mine. It sucks when I get fills because my port is tilted so I have to lay on my side a little bit and he has to do it under x-ray otherwise I become his pin cusion. Even under X-ray he usually sticks me at least 5 times.

My doc says when I loose 20 more pounds he should be able to get it in the office-he better because I got a fill the beginning of this month and he did it under x ray-the hospital accidentaly billed me( Im still in the one year frame The Dr is responsible for the bill) and it was $504.76-so I cant be paying that everytime I need a fill.
