yes I was on simvastasin for years and then became diabetic.. they did switch me to Crestor and my cholesterol level dropped.. but I was still diabetic.. now I do have a family history of diabetes so

I just heard the cholesterol medication Lipitor may be a cause of diabetes with a significant number of women affected. I don't have details and don't want any drama from other forum participants. I just thought it may be something that people potentially affected might look up information to possibly help themselves. I saw this on one of those class action lawyer commercials. As to the validity of the claims, its up to the individual to check it out. Hopefully this does help someone.
