That is awesome, congratulations. Can I suggest you do the "post op" diet, unless your doctor already has you on something. In August I started eating lots of protein and cutting back on carbs, fat and calories. Sort of like how you will eat after surgery. Anyway, I lost about 30lbs on that diet before my surgery. Then I did the pre op liquid diet and lost another 7lbs. Good luck!!!

Thank you. I'm actually on a ketosis diet right now. Been on it since last Thursday and have lost 11 pounds. I had 33 to lose. Its just very expensive because I have to do it through the hospital but if it's working I'll do it! I've been working at this now since April and I'm so excited it's finally almost time to start my new life. Here's to being sleeved eventually! Lol

Yep..My 10 day pre op diet put me into ketosis. It was pretty obvious when it happened too. One day I simply wasn't that hungry. In fact I don't think I consumed much after because 1)didn't want it and 2) was tired of my options. I will say the further out I get post op, and the more I can start experimenting with (taste wise) the better. I am still very restricted, but it is so much easier to get what you need (protein wise) when the taste is good!!! Best of luck to you!

I'm so very tired of the options already. Hot cocoa for breakfast, chocolate pudding for lunch (yucky) and cream of chicken soup for dinner. I'm ready to lose the weight and be sleeved already. Thank you!
