Y hair has started coming out more and I am almost 5 months post op is it ok to get my hair colored w single process color ?

I'm afraid my hair might come out more

Surgery: May 23, 2013 229lbs.

CW: 188 lbs.

My hair started falling out 2 weeks after my surgery and stopped about 3 weeks ago. I haven't noticed that it's growing back yet...however, i did keep coloring my hair. I think it's fine. The hair loss is going to happen NO MATTER WHAT. It's part of the drastic change in our body's nutrition.... It should grow back in time (i HOPE, cuz i was VERY thin before and i'm VERY VERY thin now...)

Yes make sure you tell your stylist

, deposit only! I am a hair stylist who specializes in fine thin hair, and hair loss, that would be my recommendation until you start feeling thick and full again.

From what I've researched hair loss will come, no matter what. However if you follow the guidelines with all Protein, Vitamins etc. should grow back.

My surgery is tmrw 11/14. Loosing my hair terrifies me. I've already purchased Biotin and all vitamins so hopefully I don't lose too much.

I get my roots color and she uses he lowest peroxide.

Deposit is when you go darker. You have to lift hair with peroxide to get it lighter, which can really compromise fine thinning hair.
