That is very interesting, thanks! I haven't tried anything sweet since surgery, but I guess when I get to that I should "practice" at home before trying anything sweet in public.

No dumping.

Diet Pepsi, omg. Carbonation is a problem in general with the sleeve, but it's the aspartame that makes me have to run to the bathroom within 2 sips and leaves me messed up for hours.

I have avoided the sweets for this very reason so I am dump free so far! I wander if people eat a lot of carbs when they convert to sugar if this can cause dumping also or if it later in digestion that the sugar occurs and nothing happens.

I am embarrassed to admit it but it happened to me today. It's my 2nd day back at work. I'm 15 days post op. I have been eating egg salad (1 egg at a time) for Breakfast on soft foods and haven't had any problems until today.

I was pretty busy and bc egg salad is familiar to me and I haven't had any complications, I became complacent and ate it quickly. Usually it takes me 20-40 min to eat a tiny meal. Almost immediately I felt sick and uncomfortable. An hour later I had to run to the bathroom! Yuck! So it's not just sweets that can cause it. Be careful how fast you eat! Lesson learned!
