How long

Can people post how far out their surgery time was from their approval date? Most people seem to be scheduled 3 months after their approval. Also, did anyone use bcbsil?

I had all the requirements/ nut appts complete. Then was on hold 5 weeks for insurance approval. The next day after the approval, I got the call and was scheduled out 1 month exactly!

One week from the day they called to schedules but I was given up to 2 months out if I chose. I just chose the earliest date.

6 months worth of appts, nut eval, sleep study, pulmonologist. Last appt was Sept 16, scheduled surgery that day for October 29 and finally got insurance approval last Thursday. Began preop diet the next day and surgery is a little over a week away.
