Does anyone have NJ Plus? Just wondering what, if any, there requirements were.............

HI--it's Kat, we have chatted before. I chat daily in the NJ thread, I haven't heard them say what insurance they each have. It is kinda quiet in there today---but pop over and ask in the thread, they will read it all when they get back and let you know. It is in the New Jersey thread---and we are currently talking in NJ March chat or something like that. They are an awesome group---will help with anything they can. I ended up in there, even though I am in New Mexico----a lot of us are from other states---but they welcome us!

I have NJ Plus and have just been approved! I had to do a 6 month medically supervised diet (I've been on many diets before, but had medical documentation on them), had a psych evaluation, and provide my weight from 5 years ago. That info was all sent in on March 19 and I had my approval on Friday, March 30. Will be scheduling my surge

You still need to call NJ Plus yourself and ask about YOUR specific policy. Different companies can take different riders on their policies. You may or may not have a weight loss surgery exclusion. I'd hate to have you get excited about it and find out your company just started excluding it. Call tomorrow morning, then get them to send you the requirements and policy statement so you have it in writing.
