New to the Group

Good Afternoon

I am new to the group. My doctor told me the best thing to do is make sure i join a forum so here i am.

I am schedule for my sleeve on Oct 22 and so exited but with a touch of nervous.

I am to start my liquid diet tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions on this stage?

I did have another questions. I am going into this very open eyes on this just being a tool to help me regain control of my health and weight. Can someone who is at the 5-6 month post op tell me how they are feeling. I know every weight lose is not typical but what can i expect. I am starting at 249lb and im 5'3.

Thanks for any feedback.

I was done in May and I feel great. I have lost 101 lbs as of this week. The first few weeks have their ups and downs because of pain and energy levels. Once you get back to real food it's great. You get a new relationship with food. The fat wall comes down and you get the real you back. It's a tool but something you can live with. The key is live not for food but for everything else. I am still a food addict and in the long run could gain it back but I would really have to work at it. I like the way I feel now, I have given up 4 pills and hope to give up the rest by the end of the year. I will not die not from something stupid. I will live for myself and my kids. Come to the light and start living your life with this tool!
