when can I go back to work?

I work as a housekeeper at a hotel,I make beds,lift heavy bags of linens,I bend all day to clean bathtubs,showers etc,when should I go back to work after my surgery?

    That sounds like hard work! I think you should ask your doctor and make sure you tell him/her exactly what your job entails. I have a desk job. I had surgery on 9/13 (Friday) and came back to work on

I had surgery on 9/13 (Friday) and came back to work on Tuesday. For that first week I only worked, I couldn't do anything else. My husband and kids had to help me at home. I think you are going to need more time. Like I said, I think you should ask your doctor and they will probably give you a doctor's note. I wish you the very best :)

Thank you Jamilyne,it is hard work been doing it for almost 20 years now,i'm having my first appointment tomorrow,because I was waiting for credit approval for my surgery and it was approved today,yay!!! I will talk to the Dr.hopefully he will have an answer to all my questions,I appreciate your response,best to you!!
