Hey bamagurl! I think we live in each other's neck of the woods. let me ask you....did you know you had a hernia before hand? I went for the anesthesia appointment today and I signed off on hernia repair if needed (nurse says that's on everybody's chart), but I don't think I have one...lol....who knows????

Probably so! I had my procedure done at the Flowers Surgery Center, Dr Robbins was my surgeon. I had absolutely no idea that I had a hernia. Occasional heartburn, but I chalked that up to spicy food choices. I am really glad I did spend the night at the hospital, insurance deemed it necessary with the hernia repair, I felt in such good hands being there. FYI ... my arrival time was 6am but I didn't get back to the pre-surgery area until after 10:30am, so bring yourself something to read. There is a tv in the room, but with the waiting and waiting, I would rather have known to bring something. Best Wishes for your procedure! Think I sent you a friend request, so if you have any questions ... be glad to help!
