Exercise Ideas

Hello Bandsters, I am entering into my 4th day post-op, and was feeling extremely motivated to start my gym routine again. I know it's been discouraged to lift weights at this point, but I thought I'd start with about 30-40 min treadmill walk. I will be returning to work tomorrow, and thought a nice walk would get my day started right! Can anyone suggest any exercises that you have found to be effective at this stage?

Walk, walk, walk!! It's the very best exercise you can do. Download a 5KRunner app on your phone and start adding jogging in there too, it's been a god send for me!

Yes!! Walk. I'm doing 2-4 miles a day and Ive noticed a huge difference in how I feel and even how I look

4 days post-op..... has your doctor cleared you for exercise yet? I was cleared for walking- but nothing more until a month post-op. So you might want to ask your doctor if jogging and weights are allowed yet.
