You will probably only be sipping 1 to 2 ounces at a time. Find a good powdered protein drink that comes in individual pkts. Bring a shaker bottle with you, and you can get cold water on the plane. Good luck on your surgery. Blessings, Sandi

I travel with Protein drinks all the time. I have a "blender bottle" which has a little round ball inside to help mix. Before I get to the airport I put Protein powder and crystal light drink mix into the bottle, take it across security and then find a Water fountain to complete the shake. I also bring protein powder in tupperware and individual packets of crystal light for the rest of the trip. I ALWAYS get stopped for the protein powder and they check it for explosives, so pack it on top for easy access.

You can also find miso Soup in individual packets which you can make in any hotel room with hot water from a coffee maker. This is a perfect broth. You have to pack the miso soup in your liquids and gels bag if you don't check your bag. Hope is helps! Linda

@sue on my way back at San Diego airPort I bought a chicken soup at the counter and only had the broth and the only reason this happenned to me was because my "cup o noddles" I accidentally packed in my luggage...otherwise I would have asked or bought hot water for tea and poured the contents into the cup of noodlesnand again only had the broth. The reason i like the cup o noodles is bc well it comes in a Cup so in don't have to worry about packing a container etc. Good luck with your procedure....I'm out 1week 3days and feel amazing. I'm sure you will too
