I had RNY on August 15th and have lost about 20lbs so far. Have hit a stall from the last 1 week now.
I will be talking to my nutritionist soon about this, but was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with fasting after weight loss surgery. I belong to the Hindu religion and in about a month there is a Hindu festival where all married women fast for one day. You are not allowed to even drink Water. However you are allowed to eat that day before the sun rises and then you fast all day until moon rise. Do you think this is something that is doable after this surgery. I will be about 3 months out by then.
Any advice/suggestions?
