Cayenne pepper

Hiya. Does anyone know if we can take cayenne pepper tablets (vegecaps)? As a preventative measure - as i am prone to stomach ulcers and tend to drink a painkiller every now and then.

I know from before the op even that apparently cayenne pepper is very good for the tummy. No i just want to know whether it is good for a bariatric surgery tummy as well?
