Life Insurance

I have a term life policy that I was hoping to replace. I've had it for 30 years and the premiums have increased drastically. Since I have no health problems, I didn't think it would be a problem to get another term life policy. They had me do a lot of blood tests. I'm petty sure everything was good. The agent called me the other day "surprised" that the company had jacked the quoted price up by 185%. He said it was because of the gastric bypass surgery.

Have others had this problem?

Does anyone know of a life insurance company that will insure gastric bypass patients. My health is good. I'm really surprised.
