Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

Hi! My biggest dream is to be able to wear shorts/skirt without feeling ashamed that people are looking at how thick my legs are(also the fact my thighs rubs each other). But my biggest dream of all is being able to go to different stores and not having to quickly see their biggest size in store. Agreed. I can't wait to steal all my sisters size 10 clothes that are adorable! I'm sick of being 23 getting "Woman Within" catalogs. When I'm at my goal size I'm going to order every clothing item from every normal catalog I get.

Will this be the 2nd weight-loss surgery for anyone else? I am having a band removed and converting to RNY.

I am also a band to bypass. I don't have my date yet but I hope it's June. I'm already approved from the insurance company so I'm just waiting on my Drs. Office to give me a date. Fingers crossed!

The results I want from surgery are:

1) No more meds! and Diabetes reversed!

2) I want to put on a shirt without a "busted can of biscuits" (I passed the "muffin top" long ago)

3) I want to walk into a normal store and buy my clothes instead of the fat lady store.

I know that there are many, many more things that I want to do and feel, but this is a start.

Had some fun tonight. Went through my drawers and closet. Instead of just packing away winter clothes for next year, I'm packing them away for donation. "Nope not gonna need that, it will be too big next winter" Yay!!!!!
