My boyfriend's (now husband) company was acquired by another company who had the benefit on their insurance. We got married, added me to his coverage in March 2010 and I started the process for insurance approval that April. By the end of May we were advised his company decided to remove the benefit from their medical coverage. I was heart broken to say the least.

Fast forward to 2013, my husband changed companies again who has the benefit on their medical insurance. I started the process over again in January. I was notified on Friday I was approved and took the first available slot for surgery. I am not giving his company the chance to term the coverage for May 1st!!!

Oh that's awful, but still so exciting!!! I hope everything works out for you!!
