Hi there.... I'm 46 and am 6 months pre-op and am super excited. I have been fat all my life and am so ready for a change. I'm from canada so our health care covers the cost of surgery. At 20,000 I could never afford it on my own. Any advice or insight would be most welcome

    My bills just came in...the doctor alone was $16,000! The hospital was $83,000. It was way more than I thought. I owe much less. Thank God for my insurance!

    Wow.....that's crazy!!! I have to travel back and forth to a city 8 hours away for my appts but its a small price compared to the surgery costs for sure And I can't wait to be healthier and able to run around with my granddaughters
