I met with a psychiatrist yesterday and he said he wouldn't clear me for wls because I'm bipolar, have a history of alcohol abuse, and suffer from pts! First I'm on meds for a mood disorder not bipolar and I was 17 when I drank and it was on Friday or Saturday night at parties! I never blacked out or any of that! I'm almost 30 now and yes I have a drink every once in a while 2 or 2 times a mobth maybe... come on... think I need a second oppinion. As for prs really??? From the time I was 11??? Bull!

I ask him if he has tried the old fashioned way (since he was bigger than me)! I am praying that this new one will listen to my whole situation before she makes a decision. Thanks to everybody who gave advice while I vented. Glad to know y'all are so supportive!

Bs I have pts and bipolar, depression etc GET A SECOND OPINION , it will help with the issues , where are u located ?

Good for u , how far are u from Miami ? The psychologist I used I think with no doubt would clear you ....good luck
