New Year, New Beginnings

April 4 is my appointment with my surgeon to sign my surgery consent paperwork. I get my surgery day a few days later! So excited! My birthday is April 30. Such a beautiful present to myself.

I had surgery Aug 13th...my birthday is Oct 6th so I considered it my "start over" year. I can tell you that its the best gift I could have given myself. My weight is coming off, my energy is soaring and life is good! i had no complications and have adjusted to eating just about what I want (with in the program limits, havent tested outside that....and wont...I was additcted to food and am well aware that I could "relapse" if not careful)

Wouldn't trade that "gift" for anything!

I wish you all the best, may you have an easy recovery and use your "gift" wisely!! You will LOVE how you feel on your next birthday!!

Thank you! I'm glad you are doing well since the surgery. I'm a little nervous as to having the bypass, but I know its what's best for me and I'm looking forward to the "New me"! Keep up the great work! I'm glad your loving life & it gives me lots of hope knowing I will be there someday. Wish I had a genie ball to see me next birthday! Lol :)
