April 4 is my appointment with my surgeon to sign my surgery consent paperwork. I get my surgery day a few days later! So excited! My birthday is April 30. Such a beautiful present to myself.

I had surgery Aug 13th...my birthday is Oct 6th so I considered it my "start over" year. I can tell you that its the best gift I could have given myself. My weight is coming off, my energy is soaring and life is good! i had no complications and have adjusted to eating just about what I want (with in the program limits, havent tested outside that....and wont...I was additcted to food and am well aware that I could "relapse" if not careful)

Wouldn't trade that "gift" for anything!

Thank you! I'm glad you are doing well since the surgery. I'm a little nervous as to having the bypass, but I know its what's best for me and I'm looking forward to the "New me"! Keep up the great work! I'm glad your loving life & it gives me lots of hope knowing I will be there someday. Wish I had a genie ball to see me next birthday! Lol
