aw thanks! I hope so, I'm trying. This whole liquid diet thing is a challenge. Are you required to do a liquid diet 2 weeks pre-op? if so, does it get easier? lol

I've been on a liquid diet for 5days now and today was the worst. But overall not as bad as I thought. I was just kind of woozy.

Day 2 of my preop diet, I'm really hungry right now and my family is eating.

I had mine a week ago tomorrow still no desire to eat at all and unfortunately I'm still pretty sore but the dr said its bcz I had some swelling that hasn't gone away yet but doing well otherwise

Yes I have to do it two its hard at first not because you get hungry but the need to chew foods and the fact that you know you can't have it but it does get easier i promise lol

Went in for preop with primary dr yesterday and my labs were off. Had to go back in today for more labs. They were better today' date=' but got to gi back Friday to have them checked again. They think it is stress from the liquid diet on my body, plus my diabetes glucose numbers were going high, so had to switch my drinks to glucerna. I am hoping they won't postpone my surgery. Keeping my fingers crossed. They also said I was dehydrated so I have been drinking water all the time now[/quote']

I just wanted to check in. Surgery went perfectly. They found a small hernia and were able to fix it. I wasn't able to walk last night as every time I sat up, I threw up. I feel much better this morning and am hoping for a better day. I go for my upper G I in about an hour.
