Anyone else a May surgery??? I seen my surgeon today & my big day is May 8th 2013!

My husband goes for surgery tomorrow any tips for the day before? I'm very scared!

You can't say it will be ok cuz there can always be problems with any surgery you might have but know this that the surgeons in this day and age have been doing the surgery now for along time and they are very well taught. I hope this will help you! Good luck to you and your husband!!

Omg!! I've been hearing negative things too. No horror stories just comments like "I'm not sure I'm ok with you doing this" from a friend that I have known for along time. I just said tough I'm doing it.

Usually, when I get cringes and disapproval from people, they end up being more understanding once they know more about the procedure & why I'm doing it. Only a few have reacted very negatively. I am moving forward, regardless!

Ok! My last day to eat!!! Idk what I want to cook for dinner. I'm so ready for my 2 week pre op diet! Bring on the PROTEIN!!! Yaaay, May is approaching all my surgery buddies. What's going through your head? I'm nervous but also soooooo excited!

I got the call yesterday that I need to be at the hospital at 830 Wednesday morning I can't believe it's this close having some issues with anxiety right now I haven't told many people I'm doing this bcz I didn't want the negative feedback and now I am feeling guilty .. Ugh

Today is my last day of protein and I will be starting clear liquids tomorrow and surgery prep my 14 days have gone by fast ... Having a hard time with emotions

My surgery date was brought forward to May 13. So starting liquid diet tomorrow 2 weeks before surgery. I'm excited but worried how will I cope as I do the cooking at home for the fly

My surgery has been moved to May 13th from May 6th. Even though I am excited about getting the surgery, I'm kinda glad for the extra prep time. I had my pre-op with the surgeon on Friday and I will meet with the anesthesiologist early next week. The surgeon spent about an hour with me and my support person who was very impressed. Just about all of my friends and family are against me getting the surgery because they don't think I need it and want me to do Weight Watchers because Jennifer Hudson lost a lot with them. (I call BS on that but I digress). Anyway, good luck to all.

I've switched your date. . Your now the day before me. Your doing this for you and if others can't support you, just stick with the ones who do! You are gonna do great and feel so good. Good luck on the pre op diet. Mine starts tomorrow..
