Your surgeon should have given you specific instructions on what to eat. At least two days before you must be on Clear liquids (chicken or beef broth, sugar free Jello, Popsicles, and crystal light). Before that start on what you will be eating six months after surgery. Focusing mainly on Protein (my goal is 80 grams) and nothing with more than 6grams of sugar unless its from a natural food like fruit, vegetables, or dairy.

Good luck! When's your surgery?

Thank you! My surgery is in the beginning of may!! When was yours?

Mine is on Friday! I'm in the liquid phase now. But my surgeon had me do a meal supplement called Optifast for two weeks before surgery! It's been kicking my butt!
