Just waiting- will need a wig. Anyone else have this problem?

I have seen the bariatric surgeon. He recommends the bypass surgery because of amt of wt i need to lose and my diabetes My hair is really thin. He told me i would probably need a wig. Only part that bothers me is losing my hair. Anyone had to get a wig?
