Surgery tomorrow!

So I've done my Pre op miralax drinking, and they said clear liquids today only. I know broth and Popsicles are on the list for after cos they're considered clear liquids,. Think I can have them today??

    My doc isn't having me do the cleanse. Just for my own info, what are the reasons for this cleanse. I don't want to poop on the table or anything...

    Cleans out your digestive tract so there isn't anything in there to leak out and cause infection.

    My doc has me doing clear liquids for 5 days, but they said it was to reduce the size of the liver and prevent injury to it.
