Recovery

I'm almost 6months post RnY and have gone from 150kg down to just over 102kg. I've returned to the Middle East as a contractor for a civilian firm working for NATO and as such have access to world class fitness facilities here at Kandahar Airfield in Afghanistan.

I'm using a fitbit along with myfitnesspal to monitor my levels as well as my dietary intake which I'm doing great with.

I'm keeping up with my protein levels as recommended by MFP base on my activities levels but has anyone used anything for recovery after their workouts? Creatine? Some other post workout product?

I'm doing about 3hr daily sessions with the majority of the time being cardio such as running a 5km on the treadmill, 3km rowing, doing 2km on the elliptical and 50 floors on a stair climber not to mention doing Ab busters. As far as weight training is concerned, circuits mostly...

Wow! Congrats on your success. You are working hard and results are showing. I'm a month post op and feeling great and loosing weight. I am just starting this journey, but already I have more energy and a desire to get out there and do more. Good luck in your travels and health quest!
