I love my Nike Fuel Band [a competitor to FitBit]. It measures my calories burned, steps taken, and compares against my goals and friends goals [love the gamification of this]. Best $149 I have spent in a long time as it forces me to see my exercise and record it. JMHO Good luck.

I bought a fitbit and returned it due to inaccuracy. I, of course, bought the fitbit one thinking it would be better than the cheaper one but nope.

It was inaccurate with steps you were taking? Or calories? Or everything? I did buy one. And have it tied to my fitness pal account. So far I really like it.. but I hate for it to be inaccurate!

Steps were very inaccurate. I believed that while in the car it was logging steps :-( with steps being off it basically threw everything else off. But after you use yours and watch it to see if you find that it is accurate. Let me know what you think. Maybe I got a bad one.
