New Years Resolutions

So now that Christmas is over everyone is buzzing about making New Years resolutions....and it's all the same...lose weight, exercise, drink more water.....

Well for the first time in my life I am NOT making a resolution to lose weight or exercise! I have those tools already in place!! I can start the new year off with plans to increase my exercise time, stay true to my plan to lose what I need to for my goal. It feels so wonderful to be almost 80lbs down and not have to hear myself make those promises that I never kept past the first week of each year.

This years resolutions will include:

more activities with my family...that I can participate in since I can actually move around more!!

Both myself and my daughter will be going to Zumba classes, learning Yoga (Already signed us up...starts Jan 7th)

Pampering myself more (Nails, toes, hair) since I never thought I was worth the effort before....now I know that the healthier I am ...they healhier my family is

So much to look forward to ..... It really will be a Happy New Year!

We all had to start.... I had exercised NONE prior to having my surgery (well, other than the occassional start of a new diet routine) So hang in there...it'll be part of your routine before you know it...and it really helps the pounds drop off!!

I struggle some mornings when it's cold....and I dont wanna get out of bed.... but I wanna get to my goal more than stay in bed...so I go!
