Can anyone give me an idea how long Aetna takes to approve? I am really hoping their quicker than some people are telling me. Some tell me they are slow and some people tell me they are quick.

I have Aetna POS and they approved in 11 days. At first my dr office thought it was 10 days. On the 10th day they called to follow up and the case manager said they have 15 days but they ended up approving the very next morning.

My friend & I both have Aetna POS... We both got approval in exactly 1 week.

I have my preop surgeon appointment this Wednesday. Papers went in last Thursday. Hoping he will put me on the liquid diet on Wednesday and have a tentative surgery date.
