gas pain?

I was banded yesterday.

I believe that I have extreme gas pains left side only. (no burping or otherwise!) Lying down and sitting makes it worse. ONly thing that makes it better is standing. (which really stinks, cause I want to be laying!)

Anybody has any similar experience or suggestions to alleviate pain?

Walking is recommended...

I am sorry. I was at least able to sit on the couch with pillows behind my back. I just couldn't lie down for a couple of days - and then I couldn't lie flat for a few more.

The good news is - this is as bad as it gets.

:]

Take your Gas meds. Walk. I wish I could give you some great pearls of wisdom - but that's all I know.

Hugs!

WALK as much as you can to keep the gas active. You can also try getting some Gasx strips. I was lucky. I didn't have any guess, or any post-op pain.
