Dumping Syndrome

I am 4 weeks post op and my mother is 10 years out. She has never had dumping syndrome but I took one sip of gatorade the other day and the 20gs of sugar hurt me so bad I couldn't stand up until I vomitted. Will I out grow this? When I'm a year out will I still be dumping? I just want to be able to look forward to a future when I can have one lollipop.

The threat of dumping is what it's all about, it's hard to get your head round but to get they most out of our op dumping is essential xxxxxxxx
