You should have guidelines from the surgeon, right? Suggested protein drinks, amount of carbs and protein. Sugar free Popsicles, sugar free jello. ,

I have been mixing protein powder with low fat yogurt, a cup of water and ice. Just make sure the protein powder/drink you get meets the protein and carb requirements.

Quick question..

Today I began my 2 wk liquid diet... So far, so good. But it's only been 12 hours! Lol

I have 2% milk in the fridge - realize I néed low fat or skim.. Can't I just dilute it to use in puddings or something?

Seeing the Surgeon tomorrow & all the prep stuff too.

In the meantime, I'm preparing for tonight's "meal" and tomorrow's also, since I'll be 2.5 hours from home for this, need to tske meals with.

Anyway, CAN I DILUTE THE 2% MILK? IF SO, HOW?

That's all.. Thanks!

Dawn

Hi ttalisharp, I had my surgery Aug.28th. Like you I was nervous and scared. It took me four years to finally say yes to get it done. But now that I did it I ask myself why I took so long to do it. I did a lot of soul searching and prayed a lot for answers. When it was my time to do this I knew everything was gonna be just fine. So far I've been doing what my doctor told me to do and I'm feeling a lot better. Every day it gets better and I feel more healthier. You will hear good and bad stories but you just stay positive and you'll be just fine. I'm gonna pray for you tonight for courage and strength. You can do it!

Well you really should get 1% or skim milk. I get skim milk from Sam's club that tastes like 2% it is really good
