H Pylori

Did anybody have to get tested for this before surgery? I had to and it came back positive. I took the antibiotics and the retest, came back POSITIVE AGAIN!!!!! :( All this is just pushing my surgery date farther and farther away. I'm so pissed and depressed.

tested for what?

they never mentioned it.

I think the H pylori is a standard test done on all endoscopy tests. Mine came back negative.

Is that the bacteria that caused ulcers? I never had a preop endoscopy not was I tested for this but I was just curious.

Ouch. I hope they can clear it up quickly for you.
