Does anyone know if having the surgery involves any drugs that will come up on a standard urinalysis? I am scheduled to have surgery on 2-14-07 but, my job has random urinalysis. I am thinking of having the surgery and not telling anyone, just using vacation time. My concern is having a random drug test within the next thirty or so days and coming up "hot". That would cause problems.

My surgeon warned me that they test for drugs 1 week prior to surgery. So I knew when to quit what! I've never heard of anyone else's surgeon require that but mine did. Ask yours. Mine made it very clear that if I tested positive he would not do the surgery.
