2nd Fill

Hello All,

I have my 2nd fill last Tuesday and have starting feeling a little down about food not that i am physically hungary as I am not and feel great. But mentally have felt down the last few days I think I am in the mourning stage of food. I know I can still eat just smaller portions and mentally it has affected me the last few days.

Has anyone else felt this way and what you did to help. I keep exericsing and went hiking today with my partner.

Well almost bed time so will keep it short:help:

Larry, I feel your loss. Everyday I miss being able to eat what I want. It is a mourning period. I've posted a thread previously that I feel like I lost my best friend. Someone gave me great advice - "if food was your best friend it wouldn't have done to you what it has." Words to live by. All we can do is just keep being positive and, like with any habit, the bad feelings will pass.

Larry, congrats on getting banded. The mourning stage is very common. For me, I just let myself mourn and I got over it. I now don't miss food very much. The only thing I miss is a big Subway sandwich believe it or not. I have had 5 fills and I eat like a bird now. I truly do not miss food as much as I thought. The feeling you have will go away, trust me.
