Need Some Food Help

Hi all,

I'm having issues. I 'm supposed to be getting more protein than I think I am. I'm 9 days post op. even with 2 shakes that will give me 34 gms. Of protein I don't understand how I will ever get in the amount I need to meet the requirement needed. A serving of tuna has 10 gms of protein, but the serving size on the can says 1 can. There is no loving way I can get this much in.

60-70 grams is a lot and I'm worried that I'm not going to get in what I need. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. I'm just doing the best I can. I'm not going to worry about it. When I need a snack I usually have some turkey breast with a piece of low fat cheese rolled up. I've tried so many protein shakes its not funny.

I just found a protein drink that really tastes good. I am only 5 weeks post op and am having the same problem. If you like strawberry milkshakes this is it! Its the syntrax nectar strawberry mousse protein powder....its made to be mixed with milk or whatever you use. Its so good. I use almond milk and fresh strawberries and top it with sugar free cool whip. As soon I took a sip I knew this was my drink finally! And I tried so many! If your a strawberry milkshake lover this is great!

Syntrax C'herry is the most tolerable I have found so far. It tastes like fruit punch.
