I was in a lot of pain the 1st 8 days. I started hiccuping the day after surgery and stretched my stomach staples. I tried to drink the pain meds and it was so discusting that I decided to live with the pain instead.

For about the 1st week, I ate about one sugar free popscicle every 2 days and by day 10, I was up to drinking some broth and eating a little cream of mushroom Soup. And things got better from there.
