We are going to Florida 2 weeks after my surgery. It is just a trip to the keys for some R&R. I have friends that returned to work in 2 weeks. Will I be able to do it?

Yes I think it is possible! Remember to keep hydrated. While you are in the hospital after your surgery I would recommend getting up and walking at least every 1-2 hours. It really helps with the gas pain and getting rid of it as well as helping your body recover from the anesthesia. The more you move around the better and I personally feel that keeping fluids easily on hand at all times is KEY in your recovery. Little sips at a time and frequently.
