Good morning, Just wondering anyone that has BCBS how long did you have to wait for your approval to come back after it was submitted

I have BCBS NJ, It took just about a week to get my approval.

thanks for responding...I saw a few more responses in another forum insurance and financing....

I have BCBS of MA and they have to give an answer within 5 days of when it was submitted.

That said, mine was submitted Monday the 16th and they said tomorrow I will have an answer on it. Crossing everything possible to get the approval!

BCBS of NC just changed their policy regarding documentation but my surgeon is going to submit mine today and see if it gets approved. I have 6 months of documentation but its not consecutive. They have been vague about what they are requiring regarding it (I called insurance myself). I'm hoping to hear something soon! I rather not wait Neil January if I can help it!
