ulcers

Did anyone have ulcers before the vsg? If so what if any impact did it have on your surgery date and how did you get rid of them? Mainly asking because I'm self pay and I haven't done my endoscopy yet and I have a history of ulcers

I had ulcers pre op. my surgeon said honestly, it depends where they are in your stomach. If they are on the part of your stomach that is getting cut out then that's fine, but mine were right on the "staple line" so I had to wit for them to heal before he would operate.
