As I reflect on this past week I am in awe that I am already here. First I have realized that as much as this forum is a great source of information, that everyone is SO different, that it really is an individual journey as much as a group journey. I have also realized that a lot of the struggles are mind over matter, it sucks to get water in, but "sip sip sip" is pretty much point on in those first few days. I felt like a baby nursing lol, it was constant.... sip...sip...sip.... The persistence has paid off, the first day I only got in 17oz, the second 40oz and yesterday.... 70oz. Protein is another story.... and another post. I have unofficial weights, but I won't make anything official until my two week check up next Monday, lets just say I am coming up on a loss that will put me at my lowest in over 15 months. My energy has come back ten fold in these past couple days and I am starting to feel like myself again. Pain is nearly non existent, tylenol takes care of any issues. I am excited for this journey! I can not wait for a month out when I start clinicals again, I can't even begin to imagine how different I will feel!
