Congrats!!! Pray for me I'm next my appeal review is on Tuesday! I'm a wreck!!!

I will say extra prayers for you..

My Dr's office called to say I have been approved. Yayyyyyyyy. Im still gonna call to verify and make sure I get a letter confirming. Starting tomorrow I'm on clear liquids.

Yeah! I'm excited for you!

So every time my file has been submitted to insurance they always come back within 24 hrs and request more tests. This time it's been almost two weeks and haven't heard anything other than when I called and they say it's going through a medical review. What do you all think " no news is good news"? I'm getting very anxious because my surgery is scheduled for nov 18th and no approval yet. I have to be the most impatient person on the world :/

Congrats

Well, Aetna Denied me. they said it's because of the 39 BMI. (this was taken 3 months ago )

i'm trying to appeal now. my current BMI is 41 and i got a letter that shows that i have asthma.

also i'm doing a sleep apnea study. i'm really mad at my ins coordinator.. she didn't mention the sleep apnea thing.

does anyone know if it's possible to change the BMI to my current one so i can win the appeal and get an approval ? :(

I had a different BMI on all my papers when I submitted my appeal I used my most recent BMI and got approved
