Does anyone hve aetna?? If so how successful was u get approve?How long did the approval take?

    I recvd a phone frm the dr office an then a few days later i recv a letter frn aetna! I start my liq diet oct 14 sugery Oct 29...I was nerveous but not no more...Soooo ready!!

    When aetna approved you, did they give a date range of when you were approved for surgery? Was the first available date like 3 weeks from the day they approved it? If so does anyone know why and can it be moved to sooner?

    Aetna didnt give me a date.My dr office call me wen they got the call frm aetna tht i was approved then they gve me several dates to choose frm then they gve the date to aetna.then i recvd a second approval letter frm aetna w the sugery date on it.

    I called Aetna again today and was told that its in the final stage of review and a decision should be made this week. Thursday will be 2 weeks since they have received everything. The waiting is killing me

    Sounds great. I can not get my surgeon to give me a date. that is driving me crazy...
