Help, I mean it. I really need your help.

You know I'm 12 days banded and I mentioned that my left side is quite a bit bigger than my right. I went to the Dr on the 9th day. He looked at it and didn't think it was a big deal. Swelling from the surgery. Every day it seems to get bigger and bigger. It's to the point where it looks like I'm pregnant on one side. I can press on the right side of my tummy and it's soft a squishy just like normal but the left side has a big softball sized hard lump in it. Did anyone else experience this or should I be on the phone to my surgeon 1st thing in the morning? What do ya think?

What you're describing does not sound like typical healing.

I would DEFINITELY call your surgeon ASAP!! You could have a buildup of fluid around your port or something else abnormal. Whenever a surgical site does strange things like that, it's a sign that something might be wrong. Better safe than sorry, so PLEASE call your doctor right away. As was stated before, that's what they're paid for! Let us know what happens......

Yeah, I guess I have paid for it. My husband thinks the surgeon left his palm pilot in there or something. The weirdest thing is it's a tiny bit tender but you have to expect that. It doesn't hurt as bad as you'd think it should getting as big as it is. It's just weird!
