I've seen repeatedly that sleevers should expect to lose 30% of their weight in the first 3 months, on average. I can tell you that I'm not quite at 3 months yet, but I've blown past the 30% part...

My info was submitted on Thursday. Aetna approved me the following Monday. Signed my consent forms yesterday and got my surgery date of September 16 today! I'm 5'6 and weigh 240 pounds. How much can I expect to lose within the first 12 weeks? I think I'll be an average to fast loser. That's usually the case. I've never had trouble losing weight but I always have trouble keeping it off. This will be the third time I lose 80+ pounds since 1999, and I hope it's the last!!
