Crazy left side pain today

It was a week today I had my surgery. Didn't take much pain meds in the hospital and haven't taken 1 of the pain pills since I've been home, every day seemed to get better till today where no matter what I do I'm crazy gassy and my left side actually hurts if I stand too long or try walking a lot. I'm pretty irritated but my drs office said its normal to have this happen...

I'm hoping tomorrow is much better because today has sucked.
