So last Nut visit was the 13th of aug. she told me that the review board meets on the 20th of aug but theres a chance that I get pushed back to the next board meeting.

The waiting here is painful. Patience is not a virtue I possess.

I did manage to lose 13.4 #during the supervised diet portion so I made the weight loss goal set for me by kaiser & then some. They told me I had to lose 3% of my body weight, which is 7 #.

I bet youre on pins and needles! I wont be submitted for a while, but I dread the wait. The control these people have over our lives is amazing.

I know exactly what you mean about the waiting. When I was waiting for the approval from Kaiser, I would log on and check for referrals. Once approved, they automatically set up the referral. Once I saw I had the referral, I made the appointment with the surgeon. I realized I was approved a couple of days before I got the phone call. It sped up the process a little for me....lol. Hope your paper work gets in on the 20th review board!
