Insurance UHC

I was wondering how to start this process!! I have a appointment with my PCP on Sept 5th. But, I've already called my insurance and they do not cover WLS. Does this mean "at all". My BMI is 43 and I have at least 1 comorbite.. Will health insurance consider coverage at this point? Is that when I can do the 6month or whatever qualifying I must do!! Just trying to be prepared and not totally heartbroken!! Any help would be appreciated thanks ya'll..

I think that means that they don't cover it all even with your BMI and comorbity. Sorry.

Call the number on your insurance card and ask them what are your Wilson exclusions. Your employer may have opted out of wls benefits on the contract. Good Luck!

Sorry wls exclusions.
