Surgery on Friday the 16th!

Hi there,

I am a Christian and I live in the Bay Area of California . I am going to Mexico tomorrow with my boyfriend to have the surgery. I am getting flack from my older sister about the surgery ( she has a friend who had the lap band and it has gone bad) and I don't dare tell her I am having it done in Mexico. I would like prayer to guide the surgeons hands and that there won't be any complications. His name is Dr, Illian, he comes highly recommended. I am having it Friday.

Thank you and God bless ! I would love to hear more about your post-op experiences.

All the best,

Lisa Marie Smith

Hey frosty' date='

How are you doing??[/quote']

I am doing ok, thank you for your prayers. I am a bit weak, just because I have had so few calories. I just can't get anything down, more than about 5 or 6 sips. I am a week out, I am just tired and feeling whooped easily. I would like to walk my dog, but I have no energy.

How is everyone else doing ?

God bless,

Lisa

I'm glad you made it through and checked in :)

The first week was really hard for me too.

I really only walked around the house and slept.

Just try and sip an oz of Water every 15 minutes.

Take care,

Laura

I am just over a year post op and you are doing great! I also had my surgery done in Mexico. It was a wonderful experience.
