Eating restrictions

I am 1 week post op and was able to start my full liquids today. I was told I wouldn't be able to finish a container of yougurt or pudding but i was able to just fine. I don't know if some people can just eat more than others or if I should be concerned. It was also basically the only thing I've had today because I left my water at home and had an early drs appt...so maybe I was a little extra hungry??? Anyway I'm just curious ..otherwise I'm loving this new look on life!

I wouldn't worry too much about it. When you start your dense protein you will really be able to feel the difference with restriction.

You are still in full liquids which means that for the most part, that yogurt and pudding will go right through the sleeve. This, unlike real food that has to digest more, will move right along! I have been on full liquids for a week. And I had my first problem with "too much" yesterday. I had panera's potato and cheddar soup (strained). I was taking small bites and sipping away thinking it would pass like the brothy soup... NOT. I was so full and felt awful until I finally used the bathroom. But as for yogurt, I can eat 6 oz no problem... because its LIQUID. I go on go soft/moist tomorrow. I've already got my smashed boiled egg ready for breakfast! Good luck!
